Review by hotel critic
Nestled a short tuk-tuk ride from Unawatuna, this charming accommodation offers a refreshing escape from the bustling tourist scene. My family and I appreciated the balance it struck between traditional appeal and modern comforts. The rooms were clean, equipped with effective air conditioning, which made our stay particularly pleasant given the warm weather. One of the highlights was the breakfast prepared by our host, Tharanga. Her pancakes, accompanied by vibrant fruit juice, were a real treat and definitely worth waking up for. the open kitchen and available fridge added a convenience that travelers value, allowing us to store snacks and drinks. Tharanga was attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed and offering assistance with local scooter rentals to explore nearby beaches and Galle. For those seeking a quiet refuge with easy access to attractions, this place fits the bill. It struck the perfect balance for my family-friendly, welcoming, and a great value for eco-conscious travelers looking to experience the local culture without sacrificing comfort. Highly recommend it for anyone planning a visit to Sri Lanka!
